Whip up this cute beanie baby costume for the little ones or even the dog with our freebie printable!

The easiest Halloween costume tutorial you’ve ever seen! Feeling crafty?

If you are looking for a last-minute Halloween costume look no further and save yourself the high price tag of store-bought ones. This one is nice because once Halloween is over your little one can still wear the baby onesie (mine was like a furry snowsuit). Here is the diy that I used for my own cuties and since the printable was paper I wanted to make it waterproof protected in case of the chance of rain on Halloween night. I included the instructions and the assemble below.

We had so much fun with the kiddos this Halloween! The look of her face above says opposite, I do apologize. You can tell it was her first Halloween. My set of ty beanie babies. I’m telling you for a last- minute (procrastinating mom) it was perfect. My toddler requested this (and only this) bear hooded blanket (try convincing an almost two-year-old to wear a hat or anything on their face) so we made it work with his way (ahaha). He was such a big boy saying please and trick or treat.

Let’s get started making this beanie babies costume!

Supplies

Instant download Ty Printable (use glossy photo paper)

needle and thread (red is preferred)

cello wrap (the best place to find this is at dollar tree but if not here is a amazon link)

washable clear glue

scissors

Baby onesie with ears (you could add ears to a hoodie for a toddler)

Directions

First, start by cutting out Printable heart tag provided above.

Cut two pieces of cello wrap, make them way bigger than your cut out heart tag.

Glue down the heart with your clear glue on one of the pieces of cello wrap.

Once it’s down outline your heart with the clear glue, add the top piece of cello wrap and smear the glue pushing out the bubbles. Allow time to dry.

Should look like this.

Finally, cut out the heart leaving an outline of the cello wrap.

Beanie Baby Tag Printable

You’re ready to pair it with your costume!

To attach your ty beanie baby tag printable you will poke through your heart using a needle and thread & pull it through the costume and using both ends of the thread tie a knot. Recommended: to keep it from blowing around in the wind attach it in a second location.

That’s all there is to it. Now, you’re ready to take that adorable kiddo in the beanie baby costume trick or treating!

Happy Halloween!
