Materials Needed to Complete a Stoplight Craft:

Traffic light printable template

Paper plate

White cardstock paper

Black cardstock paper

Kid-friendly scissors

Black paint

Foam paintbrush

Glue

Stapler (optional)

Glitter (optional)

Traffic Light Craft Instructions:

Begin by printing the printable template provided at the bottom of this post.

Have your kids paint a paper plate with black paint. Set aside to let it dry.

Check to confirm the paper plate is dry, using the scissors, cut the paper plate in half.

Grab your black cardstock paper and fold it in half.

Cut out all the images with age-appropriate scissors.

Starting from the center of the of the edge of the black cardstock, glue down the small traffic light visors. Placing them right on top of each other leaving no space.

Repeat on the other side of the cardstock paper.

Now, glue your paper plate towards the bottom onto the cardstock paper, after the last traffic light visor. Then do the same with the top half of the plate.

It’s completely optional, but you can add a staple for more security.

Align the red, yellow, and green in that order and glue them down.

That’s it! Your stoplight craft is complete! We opted for some glitter to make it shine a bit. Here are some final photos.
