Make a beef jerky bouquet: a gift for him that doesn’t break the bank, with our simple tutorial below.

Finding the perfect gift for the guy in your life (your spouse, dad, or best friend) can feel impossible. Traditional flowers are beautiful, but they aren’t exactly every man’s cup of tea. How about considering a more masculine approach to a gift. Something cheap, creative, and delicious.

Enter the manly bouquet.

This DIY beef jerky bouquet is the ultimate combination of thoughtful crafting and savory snacking. It’s perfect for Father’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries, sweetest day, valentines Day, or just because.

Best of all, we’ve created a free printable that makes assembling this gift incredibly easy.

Here is how to make a beef jerky bouquet that any guy will love.

Why a Beef Jerky Bouquet is the Perfect Gift for Men

Let’s be honest: gift-giving for men often defaults to socks, wallets, or tools.

A bouquet of beef jerky paired with our free printable offers a handmade touch with a budget-friendly solution. Grab our free rose and leaves printable template below to make assembly an absolute breeze.

You can run to your local dollar store or hit “checkout” on amazon and put together a beef jerky bouquet for a fraction of the cost of retail gift baskets.

Your man’s beef jerky flowers are highly customizable, meaning you can choose his favorite flavors, brands, and spice levels. You could go with Jacks Link’s or Slim Jim Original beef jerky meat sticks for your bouquet of beef jerky or what he prefers.

I noticed some flavors were limited in store. Amazon is highly rated if you are looking for what the stores may not always keep in stock. Especially the spicy and unique selections like the Tabasco flavor, Hot AF, Dill Pickle, Nacho, and Terriyaki Seasoned.

Materials Needed for Your Manly Bouquet

Before you begin, gather your supplies.

Roses & leaves printable template (available for download at the bottom of this post!)

White cardstock paper

Scissors

Scotch tape (or double-sided tape)

Gift tissue paper

Ribbon (to tie a bow around the beef jerky roses for a polished finishing touch, you could go as fancy as velvet, sheer, or seek out a manly style)

How To Make a Manly Bouquet (With our Free Printable)

Preparing the printable for gift:

To make your beef jerky flowers bouquet, you’ll first need to download our free printable provided at the bottom of this post.

Print out the roses and leaves (however many you plan on using for your bouquet) or you could of course do a dozen roses. 😉 Cardstock printer paper is suggested for durability.

Then go ahead and cut out your roses and leaves.

Attaching the flowers to beef jerky:

If needed tape down the top overhang packaging of the beef stick. Make sure to apply enough tape so they stay down (as pictured here).

You can now tape the flowers on. To keep a clean look, you could either use double-sided tape or you could just loop regular scotch tape as shown below.

Attaching leaves to beef jerky:

For the leaves already cut out, you’ll just cut through the center of the connected leaves to get two separate pieces to attach to your beef jerky flower stem.

You will want to tape them on from the back facing forward.

To make it easy, I laid a long piece of tape down on the table, set one leaf towards the bottom of the tape, and the other leaf towards the top.

I then laid my beef jerky stick right on top, then pressed down the tape to secure, making different heights on each rose stem.

Finishing Touches for Your Manly Bouquet

Getting out the Tissue Paper:

Time to get out the gift tissue paper to complete the manly bouquet. The tissue paper is another way to personalize, making each bouquet of beef jerky fun and unique. I went with a blue plaid tissue paper I found at Dollar Tree, to make it manly for my husband.

You can choose to coordinate the tissue paper prints with the occasion.

Make A Bouquet of Beef Jerky:

You’ll want to lay two sheets of the tissue paper down on the table, facing opposite ways since you will see both sides around your flowers.

If your paper is identical on both sides, you won’t need to worry about that.

Lay the beef jerky flowers together on top.

Roll the end of the tissue paper over some and tape it so it stays put and then roll the other side and tape it down.

Pull it in tightly at the bottom. Secure with tape and some ribbon.

Optional, take your scissors and trim the top corners at an angle to finish it off.
