Hey guys, I love Christmas…who doesn’t…I’ll say it & I’ll say it again!! haha! I’m always finding ways to decorate my home on the cheap so if your anything like me, you will love the idea of an easy ornament lantern that involves hardly any work at all which let’s face it that’s pretty great news considering Christmas is overflowing with things to do during the busy season. Wrapping gifts, cooking & hosting, traveling, shopping, decorating make it that much more of a reason to love an ornament lantern!
So back to decorating on the cheap with little time and effort…(I ramble, I know).
A while back I snatched up this large lantern from Michaels with a 50 percent off coupon, doesn’t get better than that. It was a $50 lantern, and I was able to get it for $25!
Welp, Christmas showed up and I had a ton of ornaments left over after decorating my tree.
So I filled this baby to the top with all the ornaments…
It’s such an EASY decorating idea!!! It would make for a beautiful centerpeice on a table. You don’t need to spend a ton of money to decorate you’re home for the holidays. You can even find sets of ornaments at the dollar tree!!! I mixed all the colors I had…reds, greens, and deep chocolate browns, but you could even do a color theme and group them together or even all one color would be gorgeous. Get creative, make it extra fancy top it with a bow!!! If you don’t have a lantern you can find them very reasonably priced. Like I mentioned above, Michaels will have coupons you can use or Walmart has some really cute ones for under $15-or-$20 bucks.
I hope you like my Christmas farmhouse decor in my new lantern!
