Are you decorating a kid’s room or looking for childrens playroom ideas? Wondering what you can add to the walls besides playroom wall decor, but don’t know what? How about something as simple as removable wall stickers for kids! Such a fun an easy way to add interest and color to any kids room, even kids bedrooms for that matter.
Wall Stickers for Kids
I’m sharing our basement playroom walls today. I think it turned out so bright and colorful and our three kids absolutely love it. I was amazed how something as simple as playroom wall stickers could transform the overall look of the room.
Playroom Recap
We’ve been spending a lot of time down here in our basement playroom, building an indoor playground platform with a slide, adding a kids rock climbing wall, and also a kids playground safety rail so our three (high energy) toddlers don’t fall off the top. (If you would like a full tour of our basement playroom you can check that out!)
This is a look from the slide side.
And another look from the opposite direction, the rock wall side.
Considering Paint Ideas for Playroom
We first patched and sanded a few areas on our wall since we moved our mounted tv to another wall (in order to make this part of the room the kids playground). Then we painted our basement walls with Sherwin Williams Snowbound (a white paint color) and with it being a playroom and all, white was not going to cut it, we wanted to be sure to make it a colorful playroom. We considered painting some fun colors and designs on the wall. We have two girls and a boy, so it was ideal to keep the wall colors neutral.
Thats when I came across these rainbow bright modern wall stickers for kids made by Wall dressed up.

Rainbow Wall Stickers Review
These playroom wall stickers were super easy to apply to the wall and we were able to take them back off and re-adjust with no issues at all. We were glad they were removable and won’t damage the wall. The kids loved helping too!
I was extremely happy with how big the wall stickers came. A lot of wall decals for kids (I was looking at) were super small. It was as if you would need a ton of tiny wall decals, just to make an impact on a room like these. To do this area we were able to get by with three sheets (possibly two-but we liked them randomly close).
The modern look of these semi circles is quite nice and unique, versus all the rainbow wall stickers that were just circles or dots I came across. For more playroom ideas, I’ve linked our latest tutorials and added links to things we used in our own playroom you may have seen here.
