Chicken Broccoli Cheddar Soup

The Best (And Easiest) Chicken Broccoli Cheddar Soup Recipe- a yummy, and I do mean yummy Soup loaded with bites of chicken and broccoli that the whole Family will love!
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1-1.5 lbs. chicken breast
- 3 crowns broccoli
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp season salt
- 1 tsp red pepper
- 16 oz. Mexican Velveeta cheese
In a large pot, Boil 8 cups of water, 1 cup of milk, & 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream. Meanwhile, cut the stems off the broccoli and set aside.
Once The pot starts boiling go ahead and add your chicken and your seasonings (1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of season salt, & 1 teaspoon red pepper). Stir it up. Let cook for 5 minutes uncovered. Add broccoli. Cook covered for an additional 5 minutes. ( tip: keep an eye on it to make sure it does not overflow & stir occasionally).
Cut the Velveeta block into several thin slivers (this will help it to melt faster).
Stir in Velveeta slivers until completely melted. Once the cheese is melted let it cook uncovered for approx. 15 minutes. Serve in a bowl. Top with shredded cheese.
