Sharing an enjoyably fun fingerprint craft for your little ones to help them become familiar with the bible verse John 3:16.
The verse recites “for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
The John 3:16 scripture verse pretty much sums up the whole gospel. Christ died for you and me!
If you are looking for bible crafts for kids, this John 3 16 craft is perfect for Sunday school classroom settings, homeschooling, or as a fun activity to do at home anytime. It would be ideal as a Good Friday or cute Easter cross craft too!

It can be a challenge to come up with things toddlers and preschool age can do that are both meaningful and engaging.
Alongside this one, my last bible activity “Jesus is the light craft” would also be a great one to try for littles. It entails letting the kids get creative by using yellow chalk on black cardstock paper to mimic the light of Christ shining forth from a flashlight. The Jesus flashlight bible craft is based on John 8:12, this craft reinforces Jesus’ words: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life”.
My three-year-old is always trying to keep up with what the older ones can do but this craft is great for any age, and I loved that they all could join in and make one of their very own while reminding the kids of God’s great love demonstrated in John 3:16.

For this bible craft, you can use stamp ink pads in colors for the fingerprints, or you can also use washable paint as well. We tried it both ways to give you an idea.

Here is using the stamped ink fingerprints.

Below is using the washable paint that my three-year-old completed.

Including a photo of your little cutie’s face creates for a beautiful keepsake that you or a loved one will cherish!
