I really wanted to make my kitchen look a little more Christmassy. I feel like a minimalist this year, I didn’t get out or even go through half my tubs of Christmas decorations. We have yet to put up any outdoor lights or decorations & the tree is still not decorated. I know, I know, there’s still plenty of time but this year has been so out of whack. Between planning a birthday party for our sweet little one’s first birthday, pregnancy appointments, and working on the nursery we’ve been keeping pretty busy and totally slacking in the Christmas department.
Christmas Mirror Decorations
So, to add a little bit of Christmas cheer, I started with this white antique looking farmhouse mirror. Long ago (okay, not that long ago) It was in the living room but after we put shiplap up as an Halloween , I had a change of heart and wanted it in the kitchen instead. I was hoping a white mirror on white shiplap would look okay without too much & overly white but I absolutely love the way it looks. You may remember it all spooked-up for Halloween!
Well here it is for Christmas 2020!
As you can see, I used a suction cup wreath hook to hang this pretty flocked wreath. I used the heavy duty hook and it worked out great! I have used the regular ones in the past and had the wreath fall right to the ground. This wreath is on the heavier side too!
The little red truck is a window cling that came with the snowflakes and the cling that I stuck in the middle of the wreath that says “Farm Fresh Christmas Trees” from Walmart.
By the way, I did lift my window clings and make sure they weren’t doing any damage to the mirror, and we were golden, in case you were wondering. I hope you like my Christmas mirror decorations. It’s an easy way to dress up and decorate any mirror.
