Fall Front Porch Decorating Ideas On A Budget
Incorporating Buffalo Plaid Fall Decor
Even though it’s not quite sweater weather here yet, my front porch has become one of my favorite places to decorate for any season, but especially for fall. So if you’re loving all the fall feels and pumpkin spice anything, keep reading! I’m going to spam you with way too many pictures of my home which I’m sure you’ll be totally okay with. As always, I will try to link everything I incorporated if possible. Like I mentioned above, I kept it super simple because I don’t have a ton of money to shell out on decorations and my porch is way too small to house them all.
Before we make our way to the front porch stoop, you’re bound to brush up against this big thing that’s starting to take over my sidewalk. You may or may not remember us planting it here. Well, it got huge. Really not the best place to plant that. My lilies to the right are pretty ginormous too!
Nothing says fall quite like these furry tails coming out of the top.
This photo below was taken back in the summer. I love how the colors shift between reds and purples. It’s so beautiful. We thought they were worth planting several more in the backyard raised bed around Patio.
Moving along to the porch, I scattered some pumpkins and made a display with a bale of hay. The pumpkins came from our local Kroger. The bale of hay was a Michael’s find with a coupon I had on hand. I potted some mums I got on sale and stuck them in my raised flower bed. I scored my mums for $1-$1.99 each , the cheapest I’ve seen so far.
The best fall idea I have for you, if you’re on a budget, is to add some dried corn stalks to the front of your home. Other spaces you could put them is on the mailbox, decorate a light Pole, or even put them in a tall bucket on each side of your front door. It’s very inexpensive or you might even be able to get them free. I spotted mine at Menards when I was getting my mums. My hubby helped me take Jute string and wrap them around our front Column.
I love this black and white fall sign. I was able to take advantage of fall sales in order to get it. Never pay full price, a lot of places offer discounts and coupons in some way or another. You could even get crafty and buy the letters and the wood to make it yourself. Here is a pretty finished porch sign (similar to mine), all you need to do is add the letters. Wait until Hobby Lobby offers 50 percent and snag it for $24.99.
You can find porch signs out there and still stick to your budget. This is an affordable smaller fall sign I picked up at Bed Bath and Beyond.
Don’t forget to add a seasonal doormat to spice up your front door for fall. I got the buffalo check rug here.
Hang A fall wreath on your door as well. On that note, we all know wreaths can be expensive. In order to keep my money, I decided on taking my old fall wreath, giving it new life and including some buffalo plaid pumpkins.
A cute little banner can be placed anywhere to give a fall touch. We hung ours on our porch rail.
My husband and I recently attached this railing to the porch since we had some extra material from the back patio railing.
It’s the cutest fall thing I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Now that I bombarded you with lots of images of the front porch, we’re off to the see some of the inside with black and white fall decor.
I kept the inside decor just as simple and inexpensive.
For an adorable fall centerpiece on my dining table, I took my galvanized cake stand and laid a scarf inside it. I then set my faux pumpkin on top and placed a cotton wreath around it for a farmhouse style look.
It’s so simple but so pretty!
For the place settings I used Dollar tree plates. They have really nice plates believe it or not. I snagged the Buffalo check cloth napkins for 1.50 each. They were on sale when I was at the store. The plates and the cloth napkins went on top of my braided wicker placemats.
My cute little husband and wife scarecrows I have sitting on my kitchen accent wall mug rack holding hands. Awww! These cheap little decorations were a Wal-Mart find.
And my little black fall truck is a Wal-Mart find as well. Speaking of fall, I’m falling for our Shiplap backsplash we recently finished!
Thats it! I hope you enjoyed my budget-friendly Buffalo plaid fall decor. Both inside and out! Even just a couple of fall touches can make you feel more into the season (even if you only get a few minutes during naptime to decorate, like me).
Happy fall-idays!!!
