Consider these beautiful low maintenance perennials for when you’re ready to choose plants for your flower beds.

If you’re looking for the next plant to toss in the soil, you probably need a visual and some suggestions from a gardening friend. Well, here I am to give you a few 🙂 So, Before you head to the nursery, I’ve provided a list of some attractive perennial flowers that are easy to grow, cause you know, we like pretty without the work!

Why We love easy care Perennials

Perennials are an alternative to Annual Flowers and knowing the difference between the two will help make your plant selection easier and more suitable for your ground upkeep. While annuals will only get you through a season, a perennial flower will blossom year after year and will also keep your garden beautiful for several years to come.

Here 3 convincing reasons why Perennials are a must have in any garden and outshine Annual gardens by far.

  •  Low maintenance plants that have a tendency to be hardy and drought tolerant, depending less on you to survive
  • Plant them once and reap the pretty benefits year after year-No need for replanting whatsoever!
  • Spend less money with a one-time investment on your plants

Tips Before You Bring Your Low Maintenance Perennial Home

When choosing your flowers, you will need to first identify the spot they will be planted so you can note which category you will need to shop. They will either fall under shade, part-sun, or full sun. Determine the right one so they get the perfect amount of sunlight or shade they require. You’ll also want to check the plant tag or look up the plant description (a quick google search could do it) so that you can find the USDA Hardiness zone for your plant choice. Then compare it to your zone. Find Your Hardiness Zone Here.

Why Check The Plant’s USDA Hardiness zones?

This is important because you want to make sure your Perennial picks will survive the winters in your region. When we planted our very first garden, some of ours did not come back the next year because of this reason. We had a harsh winter. Sometimes you get good gardening advice passed to you and sometimes you get to find out for yourself. We now know not to choose this type of perennial for our flowers beds since it won’t make it through our cold season. This is the perfect reason as to why you should check the USDA hardiness first, before you go running to the plant shop.
